Study in South Korea for Free!



If you're looking to study in South Korea, you'll be glad to know that the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) just called for applications to its scholarship program for government employees.


The scholarship is "designed to train key leaders in partner countries to contribute to the socio-economic development of their home countries." They offer scholarships to delegates from 62 countries to masters and doctoral degrees in different universities in South Korea including

  1. Seoul National University, which offers courses in Gender and Development, Public Management and Public Sector Reforms, and Capacity Building;

  2. Kangwon National University, which has Agricultura Economics in their catalog;

  3. Korea University, which offers Finance and Tax Policy; and

  4. The University of Seoul, which offers courses in Urban and Regional Development.

Benefits include tuition, monthly allowance, airfare, accommodation, settlement allowance, scholarship completion grants, insurance, and extracurricular activities.
